Visiting Canada was sentimental for so many reasons. I was asked by a dear friend to photograph his proposal in Banff, one of the most stunning areas of the Rockies. My best friend, Meda, joined me on the trip and we spent a few days scouting before finally photographing the proposal.
Our first day was spent walking around Lake Minnewanka scouting for the perfect backdrop for James to propose. Mt. Girouard is grand. Period. Set right on the lake, there’s a clear, uninterrupted view of the peak. This had to be the place.
